The final day..

Well here it goes..

The final day of the year..

The day when we start conjuring up "crazy" resolutions..

I've only one...

I resolve to be grateful for every day I have on this Earth..

Everyday that I get to love my family and be loved right back..

I resolve to love life!!!! and be grateful for it...

Time flies..

My son is at his Year 10 High School formal tonight..

I can't believe it..

I feel like I just walked him to his first day in kindergarten..

Yes, I shed a few tears..

I'm so proud of you, my gorgeous boy..

Today Oprah is doing her show right here in Sydney..

I wasn't lucky enough to get tickets.

The city is in overdrive..

The Aussie skies are bright blue.

The harbour glistening..

The Opera House majestic as ever..

And I'll be checking the TV all day for updates..

To all my U.S friends,I'm sure you're going to want to come on down and visit us after the show airs..

Our gorgeous city is gripped by Oprahmania.....LOVE IT!!!!

Summer rain..

It's December ..

It's supposed to be hot and sunny down here..

Instead it has not stopped raining and doesn't look like easing up any time soon..

So I'm taking myself somewhere else..

Somewhere like this..

Relaxing on this..

Wearing this..

Eating all of these..

Washing it all down with a couple of these..

I'm Sunday day dreaming..

To the background music of raindrops..

Jingle my bells..

It's the 1st of December..

We have started our Kris Kringle at home.

Every day,the 3 boys

(yes this includes my Handyman and 2 teenagers),

get a little surprise waiting beside the advent calendar..

Our tree will be making an appearance this afternoon..

Yes, would love these bells to adorn our home.

But instead our tree will be decorated with:

*playdough wreaths (preschool project)

*pipe cleaner candy canes (kindy)

*tin foil stars (primary school)

*decorated polystyrene balls (weekend crafts from long ago).

And you know what,

I wouldn't have it any other way!
