Silhouettes

I'm in the process of freshening up our family room.
New paint, curtains and slipcovers are in order.
I wanted some new artwork for the walls and decided to make my own.
So here's what I came up with.
My son's silhouettes.

Such a quick and cheap project.
Two $7 canvasses.
Two $2 tubes of art paint.
The hardest part of the whole project was getting my youngest son to stand still and stop laughing long enough so that I could trace his outline.
I gave the canvasses a coat of antique cream, then used black to fill in their outlined image.
I love these pictures and they'll be a memory of a moment in time.
A forever project..
