I'd like a new light fitting for over our dining table..
Like many of you, I adore chandeliers...
Then I saw this.....
I gotta get me one..
I have the gorgeous china teapot and cups and saucers,
I also have a very clever dad,who I'll sweet talk into helping with the wiring.
I'm sure I can pick up the chandelier arms at a charity shop,
And we all know what a quick spray of white paint can do !!
After our holidays this is my first project..
Hopefully it will all work out..
I'll invite you all for a cup of tea,so we can sit and admire the finished product together..
Ooooh Tara I cannot wait to see the finished product this is too cute ,and will go great with your home!

ReplyDeleteThat is so clever! You could also use lampshades and paint them in the similar pattern as the china. What a cool project! Dads come in so handy don't they? Have fun!

That chandelier is just amazing! Reminds me of a lamp i tried to make after a similar inspiration. Porcelain is hard stuff, you will need a diamond-drillhead. I had one go, and everything broke. Let me know how it turns out! And best of luck!
